Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a state-accredited school.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• For Magnet Hospitals, professional certification relevant to Management, Leadership or Clinical Area within the probationary period.
• BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Patient Care- Ensures appropriate care and services for patients and families; facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration; ensures adequate staffing; supervises nursing staff and support staff.
• Human Resource Management- Manages HR; recruits and retains staff; applies policies in hiring and promotions; provides annual performance feedback; integrates evidence for staff retention.
• Budget Management- Uses clinical and financial info to meet budget goals; implements cost-effective strategies; evaluates fiscal changes on outcomes.
• Accreditation Issues- Meets standards from state and Joint Commission; integrates standards with practice.
• Quality Improvement- Leads and participates in QA initiatives to address patient safety or care deficits.
• Education- Creates educational environment and ensures annual competency evaluation of staff.
• Customer Satisfaction- Ensures high patient satisfaction and communicates results to staff; leads initiatives to improve care and service.
