Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program OR AGACNP.
• 2+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
• Current unrestricted licensure to practice in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgeons to coordinate care for patients.
• Provide operating room coverage as first assist.
• Monitor guidelines for patient management.

Skills

Cardiothoracic surgery experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Ability to assist in operating room

Customer service principles knowledge

Education

Graduated from accredited Physician Assistant program or AGACNP

Current unrestricted licensure to practice in Texas
