Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Primary Care Sales Consultant (Cardiorenal/Endocrinology) for the Macon/Warner Robins, GA area. You will develop relationships with primary care physicians, drive product utilization, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans in a high-potential territory.

The role requires up-to-date credentials, a valid driver's license, and a proven record of sales success. Travel up to 50% within the territory with a residence in the area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role.
• Proven track record in developing long-standing relationships with customers.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff within assigned customers;
• Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products; collaborate with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and HCPs.
• Leverage knowledge of diabetes, menopause marketplace, competitors, and cross-functional plans to anticipate and manage business opportunities.
• Provide input to sales leadership, regional account managers on territory planning and strategy.
• Develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans; communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
• Prioritize time to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity.
• Understand customers’ product and business needs and meet them while complying with Bayer ethics and compliance.
