Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Exercise Physiologist MS to lead cardiovascular rehabilitation. The role involves assessing patients, developing individualized plans, and monitoring progress in a clinical setting.

Requires a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, ACSM CEP/RCEP or ACLS preferred, and BLS certification. Day or middle shifts with department needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field required.
• One-year clinical experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physician prescribed exercise and ensures adherence to treatment plans.
• Tailors risk factor modification and lifestyle education for cardiovascular health.
• Performs psychosocial assessments and documents patient progress.
• Conducts new patient evaluations including medical history, functional status, goals, and nutritional assessment.
• Monitors ECG and interprets rhythm.
• Documents progress, exercise type, duration and intensity, and adverse events.
• Maintains physician-reviewed treatment plans every 30 days.
