Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Cardiovascular Metabolic in the South Texas region, covering Houston and surrounding areas. This field-based role will engage cardiometabolic experts, educating on clinical and economic value while aligning with Amgen's goals.

You will collaborate with healthcare partners and internal teams, advance payer discussions, and contribute to local scientific engagement plans. A strong medical affairs background is essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• Masters degree with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance scientific platform.
• Educate stakeholders on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data for payers and providers.
• Provide in-depth clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees.
• Lead and participate on project teams to support MSL strategies and tactics.
• Lead and support congress activities aligned with MSL strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally while serving as a main point of contact when needed.
