Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Technician to join the Cardiology unit. You will monitor telemetry displays and work closely with nurses to maintain patient safety and timely response to alarms.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CNA or LPN certification, BLS, and basic EKG training. Prior telemetry or medical field experience is preferred. This on-site role requires day schedule, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year telemetry experience preferred; 2 years in medical field preferred.
• CNA or LPN certification required; BLS required; basic EKG training within 3 months.
• Cardiac technology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry displays and alarms for accuracy and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain patient safety.
• Respond promptly to critical alarms and document findings.
