Job summary

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Telemetry Technician to join our Cardiology unit. The role involves observing telemetry monitors and working closely with nursing staff to ensure patient safety on a 7am-7pm shift, 36 hours per week.

Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, CNA or LPN certification, and BLS certification. Prior telemetry experience is preferred; EKG training within 3 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year telemetry experience preferred; 2 years in medical field preferred.
• BLS certification is required; CNA or LPN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry along with nursing staff to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with Cardiology unit to maintain accurate patient data.
• Support patient care and safety initiatives on the unit.
