Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiology/Telemetry Unit. You will deliver patient-centered care in a supportive nursing organization, working a 36-hour night schedule to ensure continuous, high-quality monitoring and treatment.

Requirements include an RN license in Massachusetts, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and PCC certification within 1 year. 1+ year RN experience preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred) with ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Active RN license in Massachusetts; BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of hire; PCC certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including assessment, planning, and education.
• Communicate with care team, patients, and families; coordinate and delegate care with inter-professional staff.
• Update and manage patient records; enter and interpret computerized data.
• Follow BMCHS policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
