St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiology/Telemetry Unit (6 West Telemetry) on 36 Hour Nights. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care in a supportive organization and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include Diploma/ASN/BSN (preferred), MA RN licensure with BLS and ACLS within 90 days, and PCC within 1 year. 1+ year RN experience preferred; weekends/holidays included.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ASN or BSN preferred; ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• 1+ year RN experience preferred.
• Licensed RN in Massachusetts; active licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PCC certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in Medical Surgical/Cardiology telemetry units including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
• Communicate with healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow BMCHS guidelines and policies.
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects.
