Job summary

Kansas Health System seeks a Cardiology Technician for Days—Full Time at the Heart Center. Under supervision, you will assist with patient prep, procedure support, ECGs, and routine equipment maintenance to ensure smooth cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, taking vital signs, stocking rooms, responding to call lights, and assisting in post-procedure recovery. Certification in BLS is required; CNA and phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Preferred CNA certification noted in job posting.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting patients to nursing units.
• Assist with patient preps before/after exams.
• Complete electrocardiograph readings.
• Maintain and restock medical equipment.
• Prepare Cardiac Procedure rooms and ensure stock.
• Obtain Vitals and report abnormalities to RN.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist in post-procedure recovery in patient rooms.
