Job summary

Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks an Electrophysiology Technician I to support diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures in the EP lab under the supervision of the Electrophysiologist and the Nurse Manager. The role requires maintaining asepsis, assisting with catheter manipulation, and ensuring safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

High School graduate
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology OR
Associates Degree Cardiovascular Technology or Vascular Technology OR
Graduate or currently enrolled in RCIS eligible program

Responsibilities

Transports patients to nursing units.
Attends to patient needs during EP procedures by providing comfort and safety.
ECG placement and troubleshooting on EP monitors and Lifepack.
Setup and operation of pressure transducers and sterile equipment.
Assist with cath lab equipment setup, draping, and instrumentation.
Circulates during EP procedures and participates in late team schedule.
Performs defibrillation, cardioversion and pacing as directed.
Maintains asepsis and accurate documentation of cases.
