Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System seeks an Electrophysiology Lab Tech to assist physicians in diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic EP procedures. Qualifications

  • High School Graduate
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular/vascular tech
  • Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology Lab
  • ACLS and BLS certification within 120 days

Responsibilities

  • Assist during electrophysiology procedures and monitor patients
  • Prepare rooms, instruments and sterile field and manage supplies
  • Circulate during procedures and aid physicians with catheters
  • Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment and imaging systems
  • Document hemodynamic and case progression data
  • Ensure safety, asepsis, and patient advocacy
