Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician I to support diagnostic and interventional EP procedures. You will assist physicians, monitor patients, maintain sterility, and help with equipment and instrumentation in a fast-paced EP lab.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, related associates degree, RCIS eligibility, and 1+ year experience in cardiac/ICU or related fields. ACLS/BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Associates degree in Radiologic or Cardiovascular Technology or RCIS eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• 1+ year experience in ICU, Cardiac, or related medical areas.

Responsibilities

• Assists in transporting patient to nursing units.
• Attends to patient needs during EP procedures with comfort measures and safety.
• ECG placement and monitoring during procedures.
• Prepare and set up sterile EP lab environment and equipment.
• Circulates during electrophysiology procedures and assists physicians.

High School Graduate

Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology

Associates Degree Cardiovascular Technology

Graduate or enrolled in RCIS eligible program

Bachelors Degree Healthcare related field

1+ years experience in ICU/Cardiac/related medical fields
