Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a full-time Cardiology Technician/Medical Assistant to support providers, prepare patients, and maintain smooth patient flow. You will serve as a scribe, document encounters, and assist with treadmill tests, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear tests under supervision.

Requires MA program graduate, 3+ years MA experience, 1 year cardiac medicine, BLS certification, and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and MA program graduate.
• Ability to understand and interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias.
• Minimum 3 years Medical Assistant experience; 1 year cardiac medicine experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical and administrative support by preparing patients, maintaining patient flow, and documenting encounters as a scribe.
• Perform advanced cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic tests (ETT, stress echo, nuclear tests, Holter/Event monitors).
• Coordinate test results notification and timely patient follow-up with care teams.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and assist with pre-authorization and forms (FMLA/advance directives).
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and support infection prevention and inventory management.
