New Mexico Heart Institute is seeking a Cardiac Device Specialist for day shift in Albuquerque, NM. You will interrogate pacemakers/implantable defibrillators, monitor data, and assist cardiologists with procedures in a high‑tech cardiovascular environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ACLS/BLS, and national certification, with first‑year certification in CCSD/IBHRE/CRAT. Join a team dedicated to patient safety and advanced care.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of a variety of software applications programs.
• Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures.
• Pacemaker programming experience
• ACLS
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• National Certification.
• CCSD, IBHRE, and CRAT certifications are required within the first year.
• Associate’s Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution.

Aufgaben

• The technologist will perform interrogations of pacemakers and implantable defibrillator's.
• Monitor, write reports, and manage remote patient interrogations.
• Identify critical device and/or patient issues and bring them to the attention of the provider, and maintain the device database.
• Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams.
• Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for the assigned department.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
