Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, Ohio seeks an experienced registered nurse for a part-time day shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm). You will perform assessments, care planning, medication administration, and care coordination with the health team, prioritizing patient safety.

Active Ohio nursing license required; cardiology background and ECG interpretation skills preferred to support the department’s goals and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of practice (Ohio) required.
• Cardiology background with >1 year experience preferred.
• Experience interpreting ECG rhythms.
• Willingness to work part-time days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the nursing process and develop a plan of care.
• Administer medications safely and per policies.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members across departments.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Provide patient teaching and family education as needed.
