Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse in the Non-Invasive Cardiology department to deliver patient care using the nursing process. You will collect data, identify priorities, and coordinate patient teaching and team-based care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes. Requires active Ohio nursing license and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Must be able to work 24 hours within a 2 week period.
• Must hold a valid nursing license in the state of practice.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and develop care plans.
• Administer medications safely and coordinate care across hospital departments.
• Provide patient teaching and coordinate care with the health team.
