Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the Non-Invasive Cardiology department in Youngstown, Ohio. Shift is 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Days, with 24 hours per week.

You will deliver patient care using the nursing process and coordinate care across hospital departments. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, medication administration, patient teaching, and contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate of Nursing is required.
• Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using the nursing process through data collection and assessment; identifies and prioritizes patient problems/needs; evaluates nursing care outcomes.
• Administers medications safely and coordinates care with other health team members.
• Acts as patient safety advocate and participates in ongoing quality improvement within the department.
