Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN license or eligibility for compact/endorsement.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years in cardiac/cardiovascular nursing preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, data entry, and EMR charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiology patients per standards.
• Serve as clinical liaison among patients, families, staff, and cardiovascular providers.
• Assist with inpatient/outpatient cardiac care coordination, testing management, and follow-ups.
• Monitor patient status, cardiac rhythms, and complex medication regimens.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, therapies, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain thorough electronic documentation of assessments and interventions.
