Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a registered nurse for the Wake Forest Health Network: Greensboro Medical Plaza Northwest - Cardiology. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a pay range of $35.50 to $53.25 per hour.

The role emphasizes nursing process-driven patient care, safety culture, and collaboration across the care team, with potential float to other units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols and procedures.
• Float to other units as needed within the designated service area.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
