Job summary

Advocate Health in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiology unit. The RN will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 40-hour work week and benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the care team. The role requires an active RN license with BLS and provides opportunities for professional development within a large integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be requested.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure safety standards.
