BayCare Health System is seeking a Supervisor Research - Cardiology at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. You will oversee a portfolio of clinical trials and Research Nurse Coordinators to support Principal Investigators within the Cardiology service line.

The role involves coordinating study procurement, negotiating contracts and budgets, and ensuring good clinical practice across sites. Training and surge leadership are included as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or health sciences with 3 years in Clinical Research
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or health sciences with 1 year in Clinical Research
Associate's degree in Nursing or healthcare with 7 years in Clinical Research

Responsibilities

Oversees a portfolio of clinical trials and Research Nurse Coordinators in support of Principal Investigators' research endeavors.
Supports study procurement by evaluating clinical, site and financial feasibility and identifies growth opportunities.
Assists with negotiating contracts and budgets with trial sponsors and investigators and helps prepare Administrative Review.
Facilitates training for Research Nurse Coordinators and Principal Investigators and enforces good clinical practice at sites.
Acts as study back-up and leads selected trials during vacancies or start-up phases.
