Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN – Cardiac for the Cardiac PCU at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves independently caring for congestive heart failure patients and delegating care to the healthcare team.

The position is full-time with a day shift (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), every other weekend, and no on-call requirement. Requires 6 months RN experience and state licensure with BLS; ACLS/NIHSS/PCCN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license is required (state of Florida)
• BLS Certification is required
• 6 months of RN experience is required
• ACLS, NIHSS, PCCN certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members
• Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
