Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specialized in women's heart health to lead outpatient clinics focused on prevention, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy. You will collaborate with cardiologists and OB/GYNs across regional outreach sites, operating within a nonprofit health system.

The role requires Tennessee NP certification, TN RN license or compact state license, and a Master's in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree of Nursing is required.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credential in Tennessee or multi-state license (Compact State) is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage specialized outpatient clinics dedicated to female-specific cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis and ongoing therapy.
• Partner with general cardiologists and OB/GYNs to build seamless referral pathways.

How you'll make an impact in this role

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a specialized Women's Heart APP to our team to drive targeted cardiac care across our regional outreach clinics.

• Join an established team of 17 physicians and 10 APPs
• Call structure: Not required
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Access to: Support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Manage specialized outpatient clinics dedicated to female-specific cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy.
• Partner closely with general cardiologists, and OB/GYNs to build seamless referral pathways.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing require
