We are currently seeking a locum physician to provide weekend call coverage in the Internal Medicine - Cardiology department. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide weekend call coverage two weekends per month from 7 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday.
• Respond to beeper calls promptly, with a required call response time of 20 minutes.
• Manage an average of 15 patient encounters per shift.
• Conduct necessary phone consultations as required.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in the EMR system (Epic).

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine - Cardiology or eligibility.
• Active medical license for the state of Washington (temporary privileges available).
• Previous inpatient experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
