Locum General Cardiologist - Weekend Call Coverage

Schedule: Weekend Call Coverage - Two weekends per month on an ongoing basis.

• Start: Friday, 7:00 PM
• End: Monday, 7:00 AM

About the Opportunity:

Hospital in Spokane, Washington, is seeking a dedicated General Cardiologist to provide consistent weekend call coverage on a long-term, locum basis. We are looking for a reliable provider to cover two weekends per month, ensuring continuous cardiac care for our patients.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing 24/7 on-call coverage for general cardiology needs during the designated weekend periods.
• Responding to calls from the Emergency Department, hospital, and other units regarding cardiac consults and emergencies.
• Providing guidance and treatment recommendations via phone and in-person as needed.
• Performing emergent cardiac procedures if required within your scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Cardiology - General.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington State (WA) or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience providing cardiology call coverage.
• Ability to manage a wide range of general cardiology emergencies and consults.

Call Coverage Schedule: Two weekends per month, starting Friday at 7:00 PM and ending Monday at 7:00 AM. Specific weekend dates will be determined.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Cardiology - General.
