Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a dedicated care partner to support the high risk cardiology unit. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and patient safety in a 24-hour-per-week schedule (days 7a–7p) with rotating holidays and every third weekend.

Preferred candidates have CNA, PCT, EMT, or Surgical Tech experience. This benefits-eligible role offers shift differentials and comprehensive benefits through BJC Total

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred CNA, PCT, EMT, or Surgical Tech experience.
• No prior experience required for entry level.
• Experience in high-risk cardiology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of nurses.
• Assist with ADLs, vital signs, intake/outtake, and catheter care.
• Document patient care activities with medical terminology.
• Maintain supplies and ready equipment for patient needs.
• Support safety and quality initiatives and ongoing learning.
