Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff in providing daily patient care at our onsite facility located at 70 Francis Street.

The position offers a $750 sign-on bonus for eligible new employees and requires candidates who can assist with activities of daily living and basic patient monitoring. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting in the medical record, assisting with hygiene tasks, and helping patients move safely.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience in lieu of degree not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes and outputs with accuracy.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, and basic hygiene tasks.
• Assists patients with turning, repositioning, and transfers to wheelchair.
• Reports health concerns to nurses.
