The Oregon Clinic in Beaverton, OR is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for our Cardiology Clinic. You will work with a team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians to ensure each patient experiences high-value care tailored to their needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of previous medical front office experience is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Familiarity with insurance requirements and referral processes.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Excellent phone skills and customer service skills.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out new/established patients.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments according to office protocols and physician requests.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Answer phones on a multi-line system.
• Process incoming referrals and electronic fax submissions.
• Update registration and EMR records as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
