WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC seeks a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide formal medical care under supervision. The role includes inpatient and/or outpatient duties, rounds, notes, discharge summaries, prescribing and student education.

The candidate must hold an appropriate PA/NP license with DEA, and complete Basic Life Support within 6 months of hire. DEA registration and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is required.
• DEA registration required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient and/or outpatient medical care under supervision.
• Perform rounds, notes, discharge summaries and procedures as needed.
• Prescribe medications and conduct patient follow-ups per policy.
• Educate PA/NP/CNM/DO students during rotations.
• Collaborate with physicians and APP Manager to ensure high-quality care.
