Job summary

Ascension is seeking an advanced practice provider to join a busy practice within a large health system. The role includes direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care under physician supervision, with opportunities for counseling and preventive health services.

Qualifications include PA licensure with prescriptive authority in Oklahoma, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS preferred. A master’s degree is preferred and experience is valued. This is a full-time on-site position in Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment; order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Provide counseling and education of patients and families/caregivers concerning preventive health, treatment options and community resources.
• Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Education

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program

Master's degree preferred
