Ascension is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a busy primary care team in Tulsa, OK. In collaboration with a physician, you will diagnose and treat acute/chronic conditions, obtain histories, perform assessments, order tests, and manage patient care.

You will counsel patients and families on preventive care and resources, and document care in line with policy and standards. A strong referral base and supportive health system bolster this employed position.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• NP with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from OK Board of Nursing.
• DEA credentialed preferred.
• RN credentialed from OK Board of Nursing preferred.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and treat certain acute or chronic conditions in collaboration with a physician.
• Obtain patient history and perform assessments; order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Provide direct treatment and management; refer as needed.
• Counsel patients and families on preventative care and resources.
• Document care in accordance with standards and policy.
