Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to support cardiology services, performing general nursing activities and assisting with in-office procedures.

The role involves supervising stress tests, reading ECGs, and coordinating post-procedural care in outpatient settings, with responsibilities across cardiology clinics. You will join a team focused on compassionate care, safety, and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience supervising exercise stress tests including nuclear stress tests, treadmill stress tests, stress echos and chemical stress tests.
• Ability to read and interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and assist with implanted devices.
• Preferred experience with pacemaker/defibrillator interrogation and adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing activities, ensuring quality care and efficient/timely flow of patients.
• Assists Cardiologist and APPs with in-office procedures and ancillary clinics.
• Supervises nuclear stress tests, treadmill stress tests, stress echos, and chemical stress tests.
• Reads and interprets electrocardiograms and collaborates on device interrogation.
• Prepares equipment and aids Physicians during treatment, examination, and testing.
