Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital in Idaho Falls, ID seeks a Manager to lead Cardiology operations, overseeing daily workflows, budgeting, quality improvement, program development and departmental education in both non-invasive and invasive imaging. The role partners with the Medical Director to drive service excellence and maintains strong cross‑department relationships.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Idaho RN license or be a graduate of an accredited Allied Health program.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a cardiac setting; cardiovascular leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training and development within the Cardiology department, including Cardiac Catheterization.
• Collaborate with Surgical Services for the Hybrid OR to ensure high-quality care.
• Create, monitor and improve quality and performance measures within the department and hospital.
• Develop and interpret department and hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient volumes, care quality and staff performance to maintain top-tier care and a productive work environment.
• Regularly review department metrics to inform clinical and financial decisions.
• Develop, present and defend an annual operational budget aligned with hospital goals.
• Evaluate capital budget requests and coordinate with physicians, staff and vendor selections.
• Apply problem-solving and conflict resolution to foster strong team relationships.
• Negotiate with vendors on equipment, supplies and service terms.
