Job summary

Baptist Health seeks an Office Specialist at Baptist Cardiology Seven Pines in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day-shift position supports patient registration, billing postings, and telephone protocols within a busy cardiology setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of front desk experience and medical office exposure. High school diploma or GED is required. Location is Ponte Vedra/Southside area with standard M-F 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance information.
• Post charges and payments for services.
• Follow telephone protocols and route calls appropriately.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Assist with referrals as needed.
• Process mail on a daily basis and scan documents.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers.
