Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Physician Office Registered Nurse at Baptist Cardiology. This full-time, day-shift role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and involves assisting physicians, greeting patients, and obtaining vital signs in a fast-paced office.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, be team-oriented, and comfortable working with cardiovascular patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active state license.
• BLS certification required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (AA/AS).

Responsabilités

• Scheduling care, treatments, follow-up visits, and diagnostics as directed by physicians.
• Handling and processing prescriptions and referrals.
• Performing waived tests in the laboratory.
• IV therapy administration.
• Managing patient calls and providing appropriate guidance.
• Educating patients and families about cardiovascular conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle changes.
• Assessing urgency of patient conditions and calling for escalations as needed.
• Administering EKGs as ordered by physicians.
• Providing medication management, dietary guidance, and other therapies.
• Assisting team members as needed.
• Providing compassionate patient care and support throughout visits.
