Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Physician Office Registered Nurse at Baptist Cardiology. This is a full-time, day-shift role, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm in a busy cardiology office.

You will greet patients, take vital signs, document clinical notes, and assist physicians with exams, tests, EKGs, and referrals, while providing compassionate patient care and education. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Clinical experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Schedule care, treatment, follow up visits, and diagnostic tests per physicians
• Handle and process prescriptions and referrals
• Perform waived tests in the laboratory
• Administer IV Therapy
• Take vital signs and document medical information
• Educate patients and families about cardiovascular conditions and treatment plans
• Determine urgency of patient condition and respond appropriately
• Perform EKGs as ordered by physicians
• Support other team members as needed
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout visits

Kenntnisse

Clinical Experience Preferred

Ausbildung

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) Required
