Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Physician Office Registered Nurse. In this role, you will assist physicians, greet patients, and maintain medical documentation. The position requires flexibility and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for scheduling patient care, managing prescriptions, administering IV therapy, and educating patients on treatment plans. A valid RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule care, treatment, follow-up visits, and diagnostic tests per physician instructions.
• Handle and process prescriptions and referrals.
• Perform waived test list in the laboratory.
• Administer IV therapy.
• Manage phone calls from patients providing appropriate advice and instructions.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions.
• Determine urgency of patient’s condition.
• Administer EKGs to patients as ordered by physicians.
• Provide instructions on medication management and dietary changes.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout the visit.
