Job summary

KOPA, Inc. is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for the newly remodeled Avante at St. Cloud, FL. As an advanced practice nurse, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while promoting best health practices. You’ll collaborate with a care team to ensure top-notch patient outcomes in a challenging skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include exams, diagnostics, treatments, medication management, and mentoring junior NPs. Some travel within Florida may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with valid NP license.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience in primary, acute and chronic care.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and review medical records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose conditions and propose treatments.
• Prescribe medications and maintain records.
• Educate patients and families on health and prevention.
• Lead and mentor NP team; participate in meetings.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities as needed.
