Job summary

PremierCardia PLLC in Valdosta, GA is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology team. You will provide direct patient care, assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions, and collaborate with cardiologists to develop treatment plans.

This full-time role offers a 4-5 day work week, 20 patients daily, and a salary range of $110,000 to $150,000 per year, with flexible hours. ACLS/BLS are required, and EHR proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Board Certification (Nurse Practitioner).
• Valid state license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in cardiovascular health and post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including patient history and physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and lab work.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
• Provide patient education on heart health, disease prevention, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor and manage patients with hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and other cardiac conditions.
• Perform follow-up visits and manage chronic disease care.
• Assist with hospital rounds and inpatient consultations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
