Job summary

Advocate Health in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiology team. The selected candidate will provide patient-centered care, develop treatment plans, and work with a collaborative medical team.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 with quarterly weekend hospital coverage. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Nursing, current RN and NP licenses in Georgia, and board certification in NP specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Current state RN and NP licenses; Board certification in NP specialty.

Responsibilities

• Determine patient care plans using medical decision-making.
• Collaborate with medical team for team-based care.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform procedures per department guidelines.
• Possibility to precept students and medical learners.
