Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL seeks an experienced RN to coordinate cardiovascular scheduling and support high-risk patients. You will liaise with physicians and staff, support quality initiatives, and ensure documentation compliance.

Requires RN licensure with acute and cardiac care experience; BSN preferred, Master’s optional. This full-time role is based in Ocala and involves collaboration across cardiology services.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Associate and Bachelor degrees in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Two+ years acute care experience; two+ years cardiac care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates scheduling with coordinators, supervisors, physicians and patients.
• Monitors high-risk cardiovascular patients and provides needed support.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary cardiovascular services including cardiology and vascular surgery.
• Develops and implements evidence-based measures to improve cardiovascular care.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines for cardiovascular services.
• Supports data collection for process and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manages patient access and scheduling within the health system for cardiovascular services.
• Provides patient education and serves as a resource for patients and families.
• Communicates patient status and needs to healthcare teams and coordinates care sequencing.
