Job summary

Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them to patients, and operate advanced imaging equipment.

You’ll work closely with physicians to ensure safe, accurate image acquisition and data collection for diagnosis and treatment. This role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification or eligibility and an AHA Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB or eligible for certification.
  • Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and accurate acquisition of images and data.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Works closely with physicians to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB OR meets the eligibility requirements for certification. Certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire/transfer.

OR

  • Associate’s Degree or higher AND Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or NMTCB
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Work Hours:

6:30-3, 7-3:30
