Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our cardiology clinic in Northampton, MA. The role involves 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours per week across 5 eight-hour shifts, with responsibilities in the stress lab two days weekly and weekend call rotation.

Under physician supervision, you will perform histories, exams, order tests, manage diagnoses, prescribe medications, and document care, contributing to high-quality ambulatory

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• APRN-NP state license required.
• Minimum 2 years of licensed NP experience; 3+ years in cardiology/heart failure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to designated patient population in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations; orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate tests.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintains thorough documentation including admission, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participates in weekend call rotation and collaborates with physicians to manage patient plans of care.
