Job summary

The Wentworth-Douglass Cardiology program, part of Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute, seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing team. You will provide cardiovascular care across inpatient and outpatient settings from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a four- or five-shift weekly schedule and a weekend rotation.

This on-site role collaborates closely with four APPs in a multidisciplinary program.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care and education across ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Performs histories, physical exams, and orders/interprets tests.
• Develops care plans and documents thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, counseling, and education to designated patient populations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and follow-up on plans of care; manage medications and prescriptions.
• Document admissions, progress notes, and discharge summaries; perform bedside procedures as needed.
