Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Northampton, MA is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join the cardiology team. The role is 40 hours per week, with five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, primarily in outpatient clinic and occasional stress-lab duties.

Under physician supervision, you will assess follow-up patients, perform histories and exams, order tests, develop care plans, and manage medications.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• APRN-NP state license required.
• 2 years of licensed NP experience; 1-2 years required.
• 3+ years of NP/PA experience in cardiology and/or heart failure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, counseling, and education in ambulatory/inpatient settings.
• Take patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement plans of care with follow-up.
• Order medications and write prescriptions per policies.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and notes.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate.
