Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our Cardiology practice on-site at 137 Main Street, Medford, MA. 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with vital sign measurements, patient intake, and clinical support under physician direction.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years MA experience, High School diploma or equivalent, and BLS; CMA certification preferred. Responsibility includes phlebotomy and patient flow management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; CMA/medical assistant certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of MA experience in clinical setting required.

Responsabilités

• Show patients to exam rooms, prepare equipment for providers, and interview patients to obtain medical information.
• Take vital signs (BP, pulse, respiration, weight/height) and document in the medical record.
• Explain procedures, medications, diets, and physician instructions to patients; provide patient education materials.
• Perform lab-related tasks, collect specimens, log results, and prepare for testing; conduct phlebotomy if competent.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth operations.
