Job summary

Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates in Aurora, CO is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to provide clinical support and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiology practice. This full-time position offers days Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will handle scheduling, patient check-in/out, charge entry, insurance verification, specimen collection, vitals, injections, and room prep while collaborating with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA/CCMA/CMA/NCMA/NCRMA/ABR-OE accepted).
• Recent graduates must obtain certification within 60 days of employment or within 1 year if already employed without cert.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Check-in and check-out patients.
• Enter charges and collect payments.
• Answer phones and verify patient insurance.
• Assist nursing staff and prepare exam rooms.
• May collect patient specimens and take histories.
• Gives injections and assists with minor procedures.
