Working as part of a team to provide quality patient care and assist with the daily functions of the physician clinic.

Essential Duties:



  • Assist with patients.
  • Take vital signs.
  • Enter data in electronic medical record.
  • Maintain/Stock clinic supplies and exam rooms.
  • Patient assistance program for applicable patients.
  • Clean surgical equipment.
  • Clerical and other duties assigned by the Manager of Patient Care the essential duties of the job beginning with the most important.

Job Requirements

General Requirements State of Michigan LPN, EMT, or Paramedic license if applicable RMA/CMA preferred. Work Experience Clinical Experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred. Education * High School Diploma, (2) GED or (3) the successful completion of twelve grades combined with the continued enrollment in an Early College Program.. * Graduate of an accredited Cardio Tech, EMT, Paramedic, or LPN program OR Course completion of one of the following programs: Medical Assistant, Armed forces medic program OR 6 months documented Medical Assistant experience in similar clinic setting. Specialized Knowledge and Skills * Mobility required * Ability to work as part of a team to provide quality patient care. * Demonstrates a positive team attitude and has interpersonal skills to effectively and appropriately communicate with clients, families, providers, and co-workers * Necessary visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient's condition and operate department equipment..
