This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2500, payable after 90 days of hire (Internals not included).

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant supports physicians and clinicians in delivering high-quality care to ambulatory patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with clinical duties such as taking medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinicians.
  • Measuring vital signs.
  • Preparing and administering vaccines/medications.
  • Documenting patient information in electronic health records.
  • Collecting specimens for testing.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of a medical assistant program or at least two years of recent medical assistant experience.
  • Good communication skills and experience with computers.
  • Familiarity with ambulatory care equipment.
  • Current AHA CPR certification.
  • Ability to travel locally to multiple sites.
  • Ability to work under stress and in difficult situations.
  • Flexible and resilient in changing environments.
  • Teamwork and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; for heavier lifts, patient handling equipment should be used with assistance.
